Always active with lots to do and see, you will enjoy your Disneyland or DisneyWorld in Florida vacation at any time of year. There is plenty of entertainment every night during the peak season, with weekend entertainment in the off-seasons. Of course thre is always very special entertainment during holidays such as the Christmas and the Fourth of July. Get a FastPass to Get More Out of Your Disneyland Vacation You don't want to spend your entire Disneyland Vacation standing in long lines. This can be avoided by using Disneyland FastPass. FastPass can be obtained from machines located near the rides that accept FastPass. This doesn't mean that you get to immediately move to the front of the line. It is more like scheduling an appointment for the ride later in the day at which time you actually will move to the front of the line. In the meantime, you are free to go enjoy other sites and rides around the park. In order to get a FastPass ticket, you must have your Disneyland ticket. But once you get FastPass for the ride you want, it will give you an hour's time frame in which to come and move to the front of the line, for example from 11am to 12pm or 3pm to 4pm. As long as you arrive within that time, you can go to the front of the line of that ride. You can get FastPasses at Disneyland for the rides Roger Rabbits Cartoon Spin, Splash Mountain, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad and many more of the most popular rides. A great show to enjoy is Fantasmic, held during the peak season twice every night. In the off seasons, it is held on weekends. It all happens on Tom Sawyer's Island and you should get tickets in advance to get the best seating. You'll see many characters, watch fireworks and hear great music. But you can also get free seating included with the park admission price too! When at Disneyland, don't forget to catch one of the two shows of The Parade of Dreams. This parade has large floats beautifully decorated and many Disney characters will be on board. Three times the whole parade stops and a great choreographed show happens. You will love to catch the musical of Snow White in the Fantasyland Theater. It is held a number of times every day so you won't need reservations. Above are just a few of the great shows to experience at Disneyland on your vacation. There is always something new and exciting, but be sure to go to the late-night fireworks show. Before the park closes you should most definitely see these fantastic fireworks, loved by grownups and children alike. When you watch the fireworks, try to catch the view from the front of Sleeping Beauty's Castle. But if you have to leave earlier, you may still be able to see them from your hotel. And if you are at Disneyland on the Fourth of July, well, you will just have to experience it to believe it!
