There is plenty of entertainment every night during the peak season, with weekend entertainment in the off-seasons. Get More Out of Your Disneyland Vacation With FastPass Get FastPass to avoid the long lines where you can end up spending all your valuable time. You can get these at machines by the rides that accept FastPass. In this way you can get a time when you return to the ride at a certain time and at which point you would move to the front of the line. While waiting for that time to occur, you can go and enjoy the other rides and entertainment. You have a whole hour leeway in arriving at the ride for which you have a FastPass. In other words, if your time says 12pm to 1pm, you can return to the ride anytime between 12 and 1 to move to the front of the line. In order to get your FastPass, you must have your Disneyland ticket available. At Disneyland, FastPasses are available for Indiana Jones, Splash Mountain, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, Roger Rabbits Cartoon Spin, Autopia, Space Mountain, and Buzz Lightyear. A great show to enjoy is Fantasmic, held during the peak season twice every night. In the off seasons, it is held on weekends. It all happens on Tom Sawyer's Island and you should get tickets in advance to get the best seating. You'll see many characters, watch fireworks and hear great music. But you can also get free seating included with the park admission price too! Of course, you can't miss The Parade of Dreams with its huge and colorful floats and many famous characters. You won't want to miss the times the parade stops and a choreographed show takes place. Twice each day you can see The Parade of Dreams, so don't miss it. In the Fantasyland Theater, you can see a musical of Snow White. This show is held several times throughout the day. This show should not be missed especially if you love Snow White. Since the show is held several times each day, reservations are not necessary. Above are just a few of the great shows to experience at Disneyland on your vacation. There is always something new and exciting, but be sure to go to the late-night fireworks show. Before the park closes you should most definitely see these fantastic fireworks, loved by grownups and children alike. Even if you can't stay for the fireworks, you can probably see them out of your hotel window! Try to get a view of the Fireworks from in front of Sleeping Beauty's Castle for the greatest effect. The fireworks on the Fourth of July are out of this world. To find out if there are any special shows or events during the time that you will be at Disneyland, visit the website, call the park, or ask your travel agent to find this information out for you. You may also want to inquire about special events during specific months, so that you can plan your stay at Disneyland for those days. Most entertainment is provided free of charge, and is part of your admission price. However, special seating, or priority seating usually requires a fee, as well as a reservation.
