When you want a fun-packed vacation, with lots to see or do, you should choose Disneyland or DisneyWorld in Florida. During peak season they both have nightly entertainment, and on the off-season, they both offer weekend entertainment. Get More Out of Your Disneyland Vacation With FastPass You don't want to spend your entire Disneyland Vacation standing in long lines. This can be avoided by using Disneyland FastPass. FastPass can be obtained from machines located near the rides that accept FastPass. You won't go to the front of the line right away but will schedule a time to return, at which point you will move to the front and avoid waiting. Meanwhile you can go and enjoy other rides and fun in the park. When you obtain a FastPass ticket, you will be given a one hour time in which to enjoy the ride. For instance, your FastPass ticket may say 11am to 12pm. This means that you can show up and move to the front of the line between the hours of 11am and 12pm. You must have your Disneyland ticket in order to obtain a FastPass ticket. FastPasses at Disneyland are available for many rides like , Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, Space Mountain, Indiana Jones, and many more. Included in your admission price is free seating at Fantasmic, a show taking place on Tom Sawyer's Island. This fun show has music and fireworks and features popular characters. You can purchase tickets for better seating, as well, but get them early. Of course, you can't miss The Parade of Dreams with its huge and colorful floats and many famous characters. You won't want to miss the times the parade stops and a choreographed show takes place. Twice each day you can see The Parade of Dreams, so don't miss it. Don't miss seeing the Snow White musical in Fantasyland Theater. You won't need reservations for the show since it happens several times through the day. If you or your kids love Snow White, be sure to be there. Above are just a few of the great shows to experience at Disneyland on your vacation. There is always something new and exciting, but be sure to go to the late-night fireworks show. Before the park closes you should most definitely see these fantastic fireworks, loved by grownups and children alike. If you want to leave earlier and return to your hotel, you will still be able to see them out of your hotel window if you're lucky to be on that side. The best place to view them, however, is right in front of Sleeping Beauty's Castle. And on the Fourth of July, be prepared for the greatest show ever! However, special seating, or priority seating usually requires a fee, as well as a reservation.
