There is always something to see or do at Disneyland or DisneyWorld in Florida, but Disneyland and DisneyWorld adds to this with nightly entertainment during the peak season, and weekend entertainment during the off-season. There is also special entertainment during special occasions, such as the Fourth of July and Christmas. Get a FastPass to Get More Out of Your Disneyland Vacation You don't want to spend your entire Disneyland Vacation standing in long lines. This can be avoided by using Disneyland FastPass. FastPass can be obtained from machines located near the rides that accept FastPass. This doesn't mean that you get to immediately move to the front of the line. It is more like scheduling an appointment for the ride later in the day at which time you actually will move to the front of the line. In the meantime, you are free to go enjoy other sites and rides around the park. In order to get a FastPass ticket, you must have your Disneyland ticket. But once you get FastPass for the ride you want, it will give you an hour's time frame in which to come and move to the front of the line, for example from 11am to 12pm or 3pm to 4pm. As long as you arrive within that time, you can go to the front of the line of that ride. FastPasses at Disneyland are available for many rides like , Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, Space Mountain, Indiana Jones, and many more. Fantasmic is held twice each night during the peak season, and on weekends during the off-season. The show takes place on Tom Sawyer's Island, and features many characters, music, and fireworks. For the best seating possible, purchase tickets for Fantasmic in advance, but note that free seating is also available, and is included in your Disneyland park admission price. Of course, you can't miss The Parade of Dreams with its huge and colorful floats and many famous characters. You won't want to miss the times the parade stops and a choreographed show takes place. Twice each day you can see The Parade of Dreams, so don't miss it. You will love to catch the musical of Snow White in the Fantasyland Theater. It is held a number of times every day so you won't need reservations. Above are just a few of the great shows to experience at Disneyland on your vacation. There is always something new and exciting, but be sure to go to the late-night fireworks show. Before the park closes you should most definitely see these fantastic fireworks, loved by grownups and children alike. When you watch the fireworks, try to catch the view from the front of Sleeping Beauty's Castle. But if you have to leave earlier, you may still be able to see them from your hotel.
