Always active with lots to do and see, you will enjoy your Disneyland or DisneyWorld in Florida vacation at any time of year. There is plenty of entertainment every night during the peak season, with weekend entertainment in the off-seasons. Of course thre is always very special entertainment during holidays such as the Christmas and the Fourth of July. Get a FastPass to Get More Out of Your Disneyland Vacation Get FastPass to avoid the long lines where you can end up spending all your valuable time. You can get these at machines by the rides that accept FastPass. You won't go to the front of the line right away but will schedule a time to return, at which point you will move to the front and avoid waiting. Meanwhile you can go and enjoy other rides and fun in the park. When you obtain a FastPass ticket, you will be given a one hour time in which to enjoy the ride. For instance, your FastPass ticket may say 11am to 12pm. This means that you can show up and move to the front of the line between the hours of 11am and 12pm. You must have your Disneyland ticket in order to obtain a FastPass ticket. You can get FastPasses at Disneyland for the rides Roger Rabbits Cartoon Spin, Splash Mountain, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad and many more of the most popular rides. A great show to enjoy is Fantasmic, held during the peak season twice every night. In the off seasons, it is held on weekends. It all happens on Tom Sawyer's Island and you should get tickets in advance to get the best seating. You'll see many characters, watch fireworks and hear great music. But you can also get free seating included with the park admission price too! When at Disneyland, don't forget to catch one of the two shows of The Parade of Dreams. This parade has large floats beautifully decorated and many Disney characters will be on board. Three times the whole parade stops and a great choreographed show happens. In the Fantasyland Theater, you can see a musical of Snow White. This show is held several times throughout the day. This show should not be missed especially if you love Snow White. Since the show is held several times each day, reservations are not necessary. Above are just a few of the great shows to experience at Disneyland on your vacation. There is always something new and exciting, but be sure to go to the late-night fireworks show. Before the park closes you should most definitely see these fantastic fireworks, loved by grownups and children alike. If you want to leave earlier and return to your hotel, you will still be able to see them out of your hotel window if you're lucky to be on that side. The best place to view them, however, is right in front of Sleeping Beauty's Castle. And on the Fourth of July, be prepared for the greatest show ever! You can plan your trip around the special shows and events at Disneyland by checking out the Disneyland website or calling the park or checking with your travel agent. Or you can see what will be happening there if you already have the dates of your vacation picked out. Whichever way you go, you won't lack for things to entertain you and your family. Most entertainment is provided free of charge, and is part of your admission price. However, special seating, or priority seating usually requires a fee, as well as a reservation.
