Always active with lots to do and see, you will enjoy your Disneyland or DisneyWorld in Florida vacation at any time of year. There is plenty of entertainment every night during the peak season, with weekend entertainment in the off-seasons. Of course thre is always very special entertainment during holidays such as the Christmas and the Fourth of July. Get a FastPass to Get More Out of Your Disneyland Vacation You don't want to spend your entire Disneyland Vacation standing in long lines. This can be avoided by using Disneyland FastPass. FastPass can be obtained from machines located near the rides that accept FastPass. You won't go to the front of the line right away but will schedule a time to return, at which point you will move to the front and avoid waiting. Meanwhile you can go and enjoy other rides and fun in the park. You have a whole hour leeway in arriving at the ride for which you have a FastPass. In other words, if your time says 12pm to 1pm, you can return to the ride anytime between 12 and 1 to move to the front of the line. In order to get your FastPass, you must have your Disneyland ticket available. You can get FastPasses at Disneyland for the rides Roger Rabbits Cartoon Spin, Splash Mountain, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad and many more of the most popular rides. Included in your admission price is free seating at Fantasmic, a show taking place on Tom Sawyer's Island. This fun show has music and fireworks and features popular characters. You can purchase tickets for better seating, as well, but get them early. The Parade of Dreams features large colorful floats accompanied by many Characters. This parade takes place twice each day. During the parade, the entire parade will stop three times to do a choreographed show, and most of the Disney Characters are portrayed in the Parade of Dreams. Don't miss seeing the Snow White musical in Fantasyland Theater. You won't need reservations for the show since it happens several times through the day. If you or your kids love Snow White, be sure to be there. Above are just a few of the great shows to experience at Disneyland on your vacation. There is always something new and exciting, but be sure to go to the late-night fireworks show. Before the park closes you should most definitely see these fantastic fireworks, loved by grownups and children alike. When you watch the fireworks, try to catch the view from the front of Sleeping Beauty's Castle. But if you have to leave earlier, you may still be able to see them from your hotel. And if you are at Disneyland on the Fourth of July, well, you will just have to experience it to believe it! To find out if there are any special shows or events during the time that you will be at Disneyland, visit the website, call the park, or ask your travel agent to find this information out for you. You may also want to inquire about special events during specific months, so that you can plan your stay at Disneyland for those days. Most entertainment is provided free of charge, and is part of your admission price. However, special seating, or priority seating usually requires a fee, as well as a reservation. Some events require an admission price that is separate from your park admission.Again, check the website, call the park, or discuss events and fees with your travel agent when planning your Disneyland vacation.
