There is always something to see or do at Disneyland or DisneyWorld in Florida, but Disneyland and DisneyWorld adds to this with nightly entertainment during the peak season, and weekend entertainment during the off-season. There is also special entertainment during special occasions, such as the Fourth of July and Christmas. Get More Out of Your Disneyland Vacation With FastPass Avoid long lines with FastPass. Simply go to the machines near the rides that accept this pass and stop spending all the time of your visit waiting in line. This doesn't mean that you get to immediately move to the front of the line. It is more like scheduling an appointment for the ride later in the day at which time you actually will move to the front of the line. In the meantime, you are free to go enjoy other sites and rides around the park. When you obtain a FastPass ticket, you will be given a one hour time in which to enjoy the ride. For instance, your FastPass ticket may say 11am to 12pm. This means that you can show up and move to the front of the line between the hours of 11am and 12pm. You must have your Disneyland ticket in order to obtain a FastPass ticket. At Disneyland, FastPasses are available for Indiana Jones, Splash Mountain, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, Roger Rabbits Cartoon Spin, Autopia, Space Mountain, and Buzz Lightyear. A great show to enjoy is Fantasmic, held during the peak season twice every night. In the off seasons, it is held on weekends. It all happens on Tom Sawyer's Island and you should get tickets in advance to get the best seating. You'll see many characters, watch fireworks and hear great music. But you can also get free seating included with the park admission price too! When at Disneyland, don't forget to catch one of the two shows of The Parade of Dreams. This parade has large floats beautifully decorated and many Disney characters will be on board. Three times the whole parade stops and a great choreographed show happens. In the Fantasyland Theater, you can see a musical of Snow White. This show is held several times throughout the day. This show should not be missed especially if you love Snow White. Since the show is held several times each day, reservations are not necessary. Above are just a few of the great shows to experience at Disneyland on your vacation. There is always something new and exciting, but be sure to go to the late-night fireworks show. Before the park closes you should most definitely see these fantastic fireworks, loved by grownups and children alike. When you watch the fireworks, try to catch the view from the front of Sleeping Beauty's Castle. But if you have to leave earlier, you may still be able to see them from your hotel. And if you are at Disneyland on the Fourth of July, well, you will just have to experience it to believe it! Go to the Disneyland website or call the park to find out if there are special happenings when you plan to be there. Your travel agent can also check into this. Or you can simply find out when popular shows are going to happen, and plan your trip with those in mind. Although a lot of the entertainment is no charge and simply a part of your admission price, special seating will require a fee and reservations.Again, check the website, call the park, or discuss events and fees with your travel agent when planning your Disneyland vacation.
