When you want a fun-packed vacation, with lots to see or do, you should choose Disneyland or DisneyWorld in Florida. During peak season they both have nightly entertainment, and on the off-season, they both offer weekend entertainment. You'll enjoy the special occasion entertainment on Christmas and the Fourth of July, as well. You Can Get More Vacation at Disneyland with FastPass Avoid long lines with FastPass. Simply go to the machines near the rides that accept this pass and stop spending all the time of your visit waiting in line. You won't go to the front of the line right away but will schedule a time to return, at which point you will move to the front and avoid waiting. Meanwhile you can go and enjoy other rides and fun in the park. When you obtain a FastPass ticket, you will be given a one hour time in which to enjoy the ride. For instance, your FastPass ticket may say 11am to 12pm. This means that you can show up and move to the front of the line between the hours of 11am and 12pm. You must have your Disneyland ticket in order to obtain a FastPass ticket. A great show to enjoy is Fantasmic, held during the peak season twice every night. In the off seasons, it is held on weekends. It all happens on Tom Sawyer's Island and you should get tickets in advance to get the best seating. You'll see many characters, watch fireworks and hear great music. But you can also get free seating included with the park admission price too! When at Disneyland, don't forget to catch one of the two shows of The Parade of Dreams. This parade has large floats beautifully decorated and many Disney characters will be on board. Three times the whole parade stops and a great choreographed show happens. In the Fantasyland Theater, you can see a musical of Snow White. This show is held several times throughout the day. This show should not be missed especially if you love Snow White. Since the show is held several times each day, reservations are not necessary. Above are just a few of the great shows to experience at Disneyland on your vacation. There is always something new and exciting, but be sure to go to the late-night fireworks show. Before the park closes you should most definitely see these fantastic fireworks, loved by grownups and children alike. When you watch the fireworks, try to catch the view from the front of Sleeping Beauty's Castle. But if you have to leave earlier, you may still be able to see them from your hotel. And if you are at Disneyland on the Fourth of July, well, you will just have to experience it to believe it! You may also want to inquire about special events during specific months, so that you can plan your stay at Disneyland for those days. Most entertainment is provided free of charge, and is part of your admission price. However, special seating, or priority seating usually requires a fee, as well as a reservation.
