Always active with lots to do and see, you will enjoy your Disneyland or DisneyWorld in Florida vacation at any time of year. There is plenty of entertainment every night during the peak season, with weekend entertainment in the off-seasons. Of course thre is always very special entertainment during holidays such as the Christmas and the Fourth of July. You Can Get More Vacation at Disneyland with FastPass Get FastPass to avoid the long lines where you can end up spending all your valuable time. You can get these at machines by the rides that accept FastPass. This doesn't mean that you get to immediately move to the front of the line. It is more like scheduling an appointment for the ride later in the day at which time you actually will move to the front of the line. In the meantime, you are free to go enjoy other sites and rides around the park. You have a whole hour leeway in arriving at the ride for which you have a FastPass. In other words, if your time says 12pm to 1pm, you can return to the ride anytime between 12 and 1 to move to the front of the line. In order to get your FastPass, you must have your Disneyland ticket available. You can get FastPasses at Disneyland for the rides Roger Rabbits Cartoon Spin, Splash Mountain, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad and many more of the most popular rides. Included in your admission price is free seating at Fantasmic, a show taking place on Tom Sawyer's Island. This fun show has music and fireworks and features popular characters. You can purchase tickets for better seating, as well, but get them early. The Parade of Dreams features large colorful floats accompanied by many Characters. This parade takes place twice each day. During the parade, the entire parade will stop three times to do a choreographed show, and most of the Disney Characters are portrayed in the Parade of Dreams. Don't miss seeing the Snow White musical in Fantasyland Theater. You won't need reservations for the show since it happens several times through the day. If you or your kids love Snow White, be sure to be there. Only a few of the shows you can see at Disneyland are mentioned, and entertainment goes on constantly, with always new things coming along. But you can always count on the fireworks show on your Disneyland vacation! It happens every night just before the closing of the park for the day. Don't miss it. Even if you can't stay for the fireworks, you can probably see them out of your hotel window! Try to get a view of the Fireworks from in front of Sleeping Beauty's Castle for the greatest effect. The fireworks on the Fourth of July are out of this world. You can plan your trip around the special shows and events at Disneyland by checking out the Disneyland website or calling the park or checking with your travel agent. Or you can see what will be happening there if you already have the dates of your vacation picked out. Whichever way you go, you won't lack for things to entertain you and your family. Much of the entertainment is free at Disneyland, and part of the price you pay for admission. But if you want special or priority seating, you will need to pay a fee and get a reservation.Again, check the website, call the park, or discuss events and fees with your travel agent when planning your Disneyland vacation.
